Despite economic challenges worldwide, in FY12 ChildFund increased its efforts to serve children thanks to the generosity of supporters. ChildFund’s public support and revenue for FY12 was $245 million, up from $238 million in FY11. Supporters can give with confidence knowing that 82 percent of every dollar goes to helping children.
ChildFund is committed to the responsible stewardship of all funds. Every effort is made to minimize overhead. Procedures and controls are frequently reviewed to ensure effective and efficient use of each dollar contributed.
Because of our high ratio of program benefits and consistent quality of service delivery, ChildFund is frequently recognized for an efficient and high level of fiscal responsibility.
For the past five years, ChildFund International has maintained a 3-star rating from Charity Navigator and earned high ratings from Charities Review Council and the American Institute of Philanthropy.
ChildFund has earned the use of the Better Business Bureau "Wise Giving Alliance" seal. This signifies that we meet BBB standards of charity accountability.
