Every six seconds, a child dies because of hunger and related causes. This is why ChildFund is working with the Government of Senegal and the World Bank to implement ChildFund International’s nutrition program to alleviate hunger and prevent malnutrition.

We’ve been asked to extend this successful program into six additional communities in Senegal. And we need your help to accomplish this. Every dollar you give today will be matched with $4.52 from a grant until we reach $104,394.

With your help, ChildFund community health volunteers are working to prevent malnutrition and illness. Our volunteers lead discussion groups, provide cooking demonstrations with parents, and monitor the growth of children in the program. They make sure children are getting the enriched foods they need. Our program is clearly saving lives, but there are still too many hungry and malnourished children to accommodate.
