Born in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia, Helen was raised in a needy family. She lives with her father and grandmother in a small house in Addis Ababa. She is a bright and a healthy young girl who is in kindergarten school. She likes counting numbers and reading alphabets. She enjoys doing errands and loves playing with her age groups. Her mother deserted her and her family few years ago. Her father is the bread maker of the family and she is working as a weaving trying hard to make the ends meet. The family is from Amhara ethnicity and from Orthodox Christian background. The annual income of the family is less than US400, which merely meets their basic needs. The committee in their area selected the family and referred them to our project so that they can be supported. It will be a blessing to sponsor Helen and impact her life positively.
