Hector is a friendly and playful boy; he lives with his mother and two siblings. His mother works doing laundry for other people and support her family and his father does not live with them. He likes playing toy cars and going to the field of the community with his friends to play soccer. In the evening when he leaves school, he likes to eat herbs harvested in the community. He wants to become a lawyer when he grows up, he likes participating in school activities and he speaks K'iche language. He lives in a house with steel sheet walls and roof and dirt floor, it has a room and has basic services of drinking water and latrine. For its location the community has temperate weather and people take old pickup trucks as transportation because of the dirt road.
