Samarth hails from an abjectly needy family. His father is a security guard and his hard work does not fetch him enough to support the family. His income is approximately US $354 per annum. The mother tries hard as a resourceful housewife to make ends meet with what is at hand, but there is hardly any change in their living conditions. Seeing no way out of this plight, but keen on educating this child, the desperate parents sought aid from this Project. Samarth is in Pre-school. He is learning to recite rhymes in Kannada, the regional language. He enjoys playing with toys. His health is normal. His hair has been gtrown long and he is wearing ear rings in accordance with the religious customs. Samarth has one sister.
