Nekalayio is a young jovial girl who comes from the Rift valley part of Kenya. She lives with both parents. The father is a small scale livestock farmer who plants cereals and rears a few cows. The mother is a house wife. They live and farm on their small piece of land. They earn an annual income of US$ 270. This makes it difficult for the family to have the necessary basic needs. The family lives in poor conditions. They live in a small poorly ventilated house. Both parents have no specialized skills. This hinders them from securing any significant employment. This worsens the situation for this needy family. Due to this family status Nekalayio was referred to our project field office for enrolment. Nekalayio goes to school within the village. During her leisure time she loves to sing and dance. At school she helps by sweeping the classroom. Your sponsorship would enable this young girl achieve her dreams and aspirations.
