NATURAL DISASTER

The greatest threat facing our children today

This year, many of ChildFund’s program areas around the world have been devastated by natural disasters. From Oklahoma and Guatemala to the African countries of Kenya, The Gambia and Ethiopia, children and families are suffering.

In drought-stricken areas, many have run out of food, and they are hoping some of their crop will survive. They will scramble for extra scraps and may even eat the seeds they were going to plant next year. Food, milk and water will be very hard to find.

But you can help those suffering from drought, floods and other emergencies — such as the recent 7.4-magnitude earthquake in Guatemala — with your generous support of our ChildAlert Emergency Fund.

Your gift will help us provide food and nutritional support to the children and families who are in such great need. And your gift will also provide emotional and community support to help suffering children recover from the harmful effects of the ordeal they are enduring.

The end of the year is drawing near, and your generosity is more important than ever. In emergencies around the world, children are the ones who suffer the most.

Thank you!
