Gastin is brilliant young boy  comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. He lives with both parents one brother and one sister. They live in a palm thatched house covered with sticks on the sides in their communal land. They fetch water from a community hand pump which is saline but clean for human consumption. His mother the primary care taker of the family who depends on casual work in the community. Nevertheless, their annual income derived from thus economic activity is below 360 US dollar which is not enough to cater for family basic needs. His  mother therefore decided to approach the office to seek for assistance. Gastin is not enrolled in school since he is still young and has not attained school going age. He likes playing with toys, shakers and his friends. His parents would like him to become a doctor when he grows up. Gastin is not assigned any household chores since he is still young.
