Asly is a happy and polite child who lives with both her parents and sister in a rural community. She attends an early childhood development program. This family of four live in a borrowed one-room house made of block walls, a zinc roof, and a dirt floor with a latrine as a sanitary service. Her father works as a farmer during seasons to provide for the family while her mother stays at home caring for her and her sister. Asly is a funny and playful child who likes to paint and play with dolls.
