Richmond, Va. – June 10, 2011 – ChildFund International announces the appointment of Steve Stirling to the position of executive vice president, administration. In that role he will lead and support the integration of all headquarter functional areas – marketing and fundraising, communications, finance, information technology, legal and people and culture.
“I am excited to announce Steve’s appointment because he brings a breadth and depth of experience with large, international non-profit organizations, as well as a wide range of experience in the corporate sector,” said ChildFund CEO and President Anne Lynam Goddard.
Stirling joins ChildFund with almost 30 years of experience in both non-profit and for-profit organizations where he led fully cross-functional teams. He has additional experience with World Vision, CHILDHELP, Mead Johnson Nutritionals and Conagra Foods and Ameritrade.
Stirling is passionate about ChildFund’s mission and values. He lived in an orphanage for six years in Korea and was himself a sponsored child. “I believe in the power of a dream, and it will be an honor and privilege to work side by side with the ChildFund team to enable even more children and young adults to unleash the value of the human spirit and their dreams.”
