If we empower children to thrive throughout all stages of life they will become leaders of enduring change.
Yet, many factors disrupt children’s healthy development. Nations may not fully protect the rights of children. Cultural norms may be harmful to children. Or climate change may prevent youth from having the same livelihoods that supported their elders.
