February 2012
A hop, a jump … or a leap?
Frog The 29th of February comes only every four years. How are you celebrating Leap Day? We at ChildFund have a suggestion for you: Take a leap, and change a life.
So much can happen in four years. With the right support, a baby will learn to walk, talk, play and get into mischief. A preschooler will begin primary school and learn to read and write. A third-grader will grow and change into a pre-teen. Four years from now, a 13-year-old might finish school and consider university.
Or, without support, she might quit school to enter an arranged marriage at 14 and become a mother by 15. Learn more.
