Our child sponsorship program proves that one person really can make a difference in a child's life, but what happens when an entire workplace comes together to improve the lives of families living in poverty? There are many ways for you to get involved with ChildFund and fight child poverty, but we're stronger when we work together. This is why the Combined Federal Campaign, which allows federal employers and workers to raise money for great causes and maximize the impact of charitable giving, is so important.

What is the Combined Federal Campaign?

Every autumn, federal workplaces across the United States embark on fundraising initiatives to help a variety of nonprofit organizations. If you work for the federal government or serve in the military, you can help ChildFund by organizing a fundraising event to help us bring hope to impoverished children and families around the world and also right here in the United States.

How Do I Get Involved?

To begin raising money for ChildFund through the campaign, the first thing you'll need to do is contact your local CFC office to request a pledge form. You can use the Location Finder page of the official CFC website to determine which office handles paperwork for your region, and when you fill out your form, remember to add ChildFund's CFC number: #11385.

You can work either as a team to raise more money for a specific cause, such as one of our special projects or a gift from our Gifts of Love & Hope catalog, or raise awareness on an individual level and encourage your coworkers to sponsor children. All donations made through the CFC are fully tax deductible, and more information on claiming back tax receipts from your local campaign can be found on the CFC's website.

What Other Ways Are There to Help?

The CFC is a significant fundraising resource for ChildFund and other nonprofit organizations in the United States. Although the fall fund drive runs from Sept. 1 through Dec. 15, there's nothing stopping you from getting involved year-round and making a difference in the lives of children in need.

For just $28 per month, you can sponsor a child living in one of the world's poorest countries. Your generosity will make a lasting difference, as sponsorship lets us provide vulnerable children with nutritious food, essential health care and other vital necessities. Alternatively, our monthly giving programs allow you to contribute to funds that provide families with aid where the need is greatest.
