Join with other donors to provide oral rehydration solution for children in the midst of the Ebola outbreak.

Program Goal: Provide great-tasting, medical-grade oral rehydration solution (ORS) for children affected by Ebola in West Africa.

The World Health Organization estimates that an estimated 8.5 million children and youth under 20 years old live in Ebola-affected areas in West Africa. Of them, 2.5 million are under the age of 5. Children face not only the risk of being infected by the virus but also difficult changes the outbreak has wrought in their lives.

Many children have lost one or both parents to Ebola since the start of the outbreak in West Africa and now live with relatives or in foster care. With poverty widespread even before the Ebola outbreak, many families were already struggling to feed their own children. Ebola has further eroded people’s circumstances, and families who take in children affected by Ebola find it extremely difficult to cope with the added pressure.

For these children, who have suffered so much, staying well-hydrated is an important step toward staying healthy and happy. In order to meet the critical need for hydration, the DripDrop Foundation has been donating its product — yet the demand is so great that we need your help to continue supplying our programs with DripDrop.

What is DripDrop?
