Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator, awarded ChildFund International its coveted four-star rating for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances.

According to Charity Navigator only one-fourth of the charities it reviews receive its highest rating of four stars. In receiving this rating ChildFund has proven that it executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way.

The unprecedented growth of the nonprofit sector is a clear indicator that organizations like ChildFund must prove they operate under the highest of standards from both a management and fiscal standpoint. Accountability and transparency are also core indicators to donors and sponsors in determining what non-profit organizations they want to support with their hard earned dollars.

ChildFund International's Board of Directors and Executive Team maintain stringent fiscal standards to ensure donors and sponsors that the use of their contributions in supporting children and families worldwide, is done in the most effective and efficient manner possible. ChildFund dedicates 83 percent of every dollar contributed to program services for more than 15.2 million children and family members.

This “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates ChildFund from its peers and demonstrates to the public we are worthy of their trust and confidence. ChildFund also meets the Better Business Bureau’s standards of charitable accountability.
