Jusu is a smart and intelligent boy. He hails from a remote farming community in the eastern part of Sierra Leone. He lives with his parents in an extended family house built with mud and stick, roofed with old zinc. It leaks heavily whenever it rains. This makes life uncomfortable for Jusu and family as repairing the old zinc is one of their major challenges. His parents are subsistence farmers who grow crops such as rice, maize, and cassava. Their annual income from farming is evaluated to US$250.00. This income is too low to support the family let alone to raise them out of poverty. He is attending primary school in his community. His favorite food is okra soup and rice. With your sponsorship, Jusu would be able to have his basic needs and be educated with hope for a brighter future.
