Sponsor A Child

Amar was born in Addis Ababa the capital city of Ethiopia. He lives with his parents and three siblings- two sisters and a brother- in one of the slummy area. Amars father is a casual worker  while his mother is a housewife. Amar attends in primary school and likes the subject English. He is a healthy child. Amar and his family speak Amharic. The family is currently living in a shelter made of iron sheets. Despite the availability of health center in the neighborhood, it lacks necessary laboratory equipment such as microscopes. Even the government schools do not have enough reference books and child friendly environments, well equipped clubs and pedagogical centers and training for teachers on class management and modern teaching methods. Amars family wants to change their lives through any kind of income generating activity. Coming from a low income family whose annual income is less than US$ 400, Amar deserves the kind of support you can offer him.
