William is a calm and humble boy from Northern Kenya, Turkana County. He is raised by his father, mother and one brother. The family lives in a grass thatched mud hut in their communal and. They get their water from a community hand pump whose water is scarce and saline thus not safe for child’s consumption. His mother is the primary caregiver of the family and the father is the breadwinner. He practices charcoal burning and mat weaving for economic sustenance. However, the annual income generated from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to cater for family basic needs. His mother decided to approach the office seeking for further assistance in upbringing of William. William is enrolled in a nearby school where he likes Mathematics activities. He also plays football with his friends during his free time. His aspiration is to become a Mechanic and help his family and the less fortunate when he grows up. While at home, he helps his parents to fetch water and collect firewood. Your support will bring a lasting change to his life and the entire family.
