Simon is a charming young boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. He lives with his mother, father, four brothers. They live in a palm thatched mud house in a communal land. The family fetch water from a community hand pump whose water is saline and scarce as it is depended upon by many households because it is the main source of water in the community. His mother is the breadwinner of the family who depends on firewood selling activity. However, the annual income generated from this activity is below 360 US dollars which no enough to meet the family’s basic needs. His parents therefore decided to approach the office to seek for further assistance. Simon is enrolled in school where he is in Grade 4. At school, he enjoys playing football with his friends and his favourite game is playing with improvised toy cars. He would like to be a police officer when he grows up as he enjoys being in school. Simon helps his mother in fetching water and looking after their goats. Your support will bring a lasting change to his life and the family at large.
