Sponsor A Child

Sadew is a smart little boy who lives with his brother and parents in a lovely village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. He attends a Primary school which is 500 meters away from his house and he walks to school with his father. His favorite subject is Sinhala. When he is free, Sadew loves to play cricket with his brother    and also to ride his bicycle.  His father works as a Cultivator/ laborer connected to cultivation work and earns a small annual income of around USD550/-, while facing uncertainties regarding income and livelihood.  Meanwhile, his mother fulfills the role of a housewife, managing the household with limited resources.Their partly built house has been constructed with bricks and the floor is concreted. The roof is covered with asbestos sheets. They are fortunate to possess proper sanitary facilities, electricity and tap water, which ensures their basic hygiene needs.   However, their life remains hard due to the rising cost of living. A little help from a kind person will definitely help Sadew to look forward to a better future for himself and his family.
