Ishmael is a clever young boy. He is the only child in his family. He lives with his in one of the villages in Rufunsa district which is located in the Eastern part of Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. Ishmael is in custody of his mother and grandmother because his parents nevergot married. They are subsistence farmers growing maize their staple food crop mainly for consumption, but yield is always low due to poor cultivation methods, unpredictable weather condition and soil infertility. There annual income is $300, this cannot meet their basic needs adequately. Due to this reason, the mother has decided to enrol Ishmael for sponsorship. This child is not in pre-school yet. He is fairly a healthy child, he likes playing with toys. Your support through sponsorship will leave a lasting impression on Ishmael’s face.
