Moses is a smart loving boy who is from the rural area in Sierra Leone. He lives with his parents, siblings in a village that is located along the highway in the far north of country. His village is surrounded with hills and rocks. The family dwells in a four bedroom mud brick house roofed with thatch. The thatch requires replacement each year to avoid leakages during the rainy season. The floor is not paved and the wall is not plastered. Moses sometimes suffers from common cold as a result of the cool temperature of the room. He sleeps with his parents in a locally made wooden bed with a grass mattress with inadequate beddings. His parents are farmers who grow crop and vegetables mainly for home consumption and sell few when the harvest is good. The income earned is not enough to address their basic needs. He is not in school but he enjoys the company of his elder brother who teaches him how to read the English alphabets and counting. With sponsorship, Moses will live in a safe and conducive environment, free from risk and harm.
