Josephine is a cheerful girl who lives in Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. She lives together with her mother, father, two brothers and two sisters. They live in a communal land in a grass thatched house. They get their water from a nearby river which can expose them to waterborne diseases. The father is the bread winner who depends on livestock keeping and the mother depends on making and selling brooms. The family’s annual income is less than 360US dollars which hardly meets their basic needs. Her mother therefore decided to approach the office seeking for assistance. Josephine goes to a nearby school in their village, she performs well in counting, drawing and coloring. Josephine likes playing with handmade toys with her friends during her free time. She helps her mother in cleaning the house and fetching water. Her dream is to become a pilot when she grows up as she enjoys seeing planes. Your support will bring a lasting change to Josephine’s life.
