ChildFund works to support children in Africa by working through grassroots local partner organizations in nine countries – collaborating with local leaders, families and children to build programs based on what each community needs most. How it all works
Multiply your impact
We combine your tax-deductible donation with gifts from other caring sponsors to make life better where your sponsored child lives. You can also send direct monetary donations as a gift to your sponsored child, like birthday and holiday gift donations.
Make a difference
It’s like having a pen pal in another part of the world – all while you support a child and their dreams!
Through letters and photos, you get to personally know and encourage your sponsored child and their family.

Protecting childhood worldwide
ChildFund has programs in 66 countries to help children achieve their full potential. In the U.S., supporters can sponsor children in 21 of those countries. Our work is tailored to each country’s culture and context, whether we are supporting kids to get a better education in Kenya, resist child marriage in India or find a safe space to express their emotions in the United States.
Where We Work
