Ashish hails from a needy family living in a village in India. His father works as a casual laborer and earns a meager income approximately USD 350  per annum which is insufficient for him to cater to the needs of the family. He strives to make ends meet whereas mother is a housewife and she takes care of all the household chores. The parents are anxious to provide good food, clothing and education for their children. But they are unable to do so due to low and irregular income. Hence, they approached this partner for help. Ashish is  attending primary school. His favorite subject is Hindi, the national language. He enjoys playing group games with his friends.  Ashishs health is good and he has one brother and one sister.
