Himanshu hails from an abjectly needy family. His father works very hard as an agricultural laborer and mother works as a daily wages laborer; their combined income is about US $ 254 per annum. Their hard work does not suffice enough to support the family or provide them with their basic needs of food and clothing. In spite of their best efforts with what they have in hand, they fail to make ends meet. Finally in sheer desperation the humble parents sought aid from this local partner to provide basic facilities to this child. Himanshu is attending Primary school. His favorite subject is Hindi, the national language. He enjoys playing group games with his friends. His health is normal.
