Mariama and the family live in a small village in the west coast region of the Gambia. She has two brothers and no sister and they all live together in the same household. She attends  primary School and likes been in school .Her parents are subsistence farmers and they depend on rain fed agriculture to provide food, shelter and clothing for the family. She is really interested in learning but lacks the educational materials. Based on these facts, this child needs an additional support such that she can achieve her educational dreams and live a better life with the rest of her family members. She looks  in good health.
