Soumya fondly called as Sai, belongs to a poor family whose living conditions are pathetic and deplorable. His father is working as a casual worker. Their income is approximately US 612 dollars per annum, which does not suffice to support the family or provide them with even one square meal a day. The mother does the household chores and catering to the family, but in spite of all her undying efforts, there seems to be no improvement in their living conditions. Life is a mere struggle for existence.  Eager to provide this child with the chance of a better living, the desperate parents finally appealed to this project for assistance. Soumya is attending primary school and he loves to workout mathematics. He is very active and loves to play group game with his friends. His health is normal.  He is wearing red chord around his neck in accordance with their religious customs.  Soumya has two sisters.
