Wutthichai Rayabsri or Beet was born into a needy family without a piece of farmland to work on their own. His father and mother were divorced, his father got married again and his mother has gone to work in other province. The boy is presently in care of his paternal grandfather and grandmother, both are very old, they earn the living as traditional farmer and grow rice for home consumption on their relative’s farmland. The crop yields are kept for home consumption but mostly it’s not sufficient for family to eat all year round. This has caused them more troublesome as his grandparents don’t have other career to do besides farming. It’s hard to make ends meet and survive with uncertain income; this may not allow the boy to get a proper education appropriate to his age. Beet is a good boy despite he certainly lacks parental warmth. With your act of kindness, Beet and his family will live a better life. Also, the boy’s educational opportunity will be secured.
