Jovin is a cheerful girl living with both parents and siblings in North Eastern Uganda. Her favourite food is beans and Rice. She goes to kindergarten and likes drawing pictures. Her family members walk for 4kms to healthcare units whenever they fall sick. They sleep in grass thatched huts made of mud walls and wattle with packed dirt floors. These huts have no provisions of windows yet they use locally made smoky candles for lighting at night. Her family owns a small piece of land where they practice subsistence farming, growing cassava, peas, vegetables and groundnuts for home consumption but due to unpredictable weather conditions and poor soils resulting to constant food shortage, hence the family has low incomes to support the family basic needs. Their monthly income is out of small sales from the farm of less than US 10 dollars. Your kind sponsorship will be a blessing to Jovin.
