Tarick lives in one of the villages in Kapete. His parents divorced. The father left the child under the care of the mother as the sole breadwinner. The family owns a piece of land where they practice small scale farming. They grow corn but due to unpracticable weather conditions, the farm produce is always low, and this cannot meet their basic needs adequately. His mother is also a small-scale trader who sells vegetables in a local market within the village. The income earned annually is not enough to meet their basic needs. He is in primary school and his favorite subject is Science. He enjoys playing football with his friends. They are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
