We are glad to introduce John, a social and honest young athlete with a keen interest in football, hailing from a rural village in northeastern Uganda. He lives with his parents and siblings in a humble mud-and-grass-thatched house, where the floor is made of packed dirt. The community they live in depends largely on small-scale farming, which provides just enough for their daily meals and a modest income to cover a few basic needs. His favorite subjects in school are mathematics, English, and social studies, and he excels particularly in math. Despite his familys lack of a stable income source, John remains focused on his studies and his love for football. His parents, who rely on farming for survival, struggle to provide enough resources for their large family. Sometimes, there simply isnt enough to go around, and this scarcity makes it difficult to meet the growing needs of the household. He dreams of becoming a teacher, so he can train and guide younger generations just as he has been inspired to do.
