Milimo lives with grand parents, and a brother in a Village in Kafue district. The family are subsistence farmers who grow crops like maize, groundnuts and sweet potatoes. This is usually done during the rainy season, they also do some piece works to supplement their income, however this is not adequate enough to meet most of their basic needs. Milimo has not started school yet. It is the dream of her parents to enroll her in school. At home she helps in some house chores like picking plates and drawing water. Your sponsorship will go a long in uplifting her wellbeing.
