James is kept by the mother and grandmother after parents divorced. James has two sisters in the family at the moment and lives in Chitemalesa area east of Lusaka. They live in a two roomed house made out of unburnt bricks. The mother does not work but practice subsistence farming. They grow maize as their staple food crop and sell some tomatoes and other vegetables at the local market to earn their income. However, the little income earned which is about $350 is not enough to meet their daily needs as a family. James is in primary school and enjoys playing ball games with his friends. We therefore hope that with your support to him will surely enhance his living standard and be able to complete school to stand on his own.
