Yitbarek was born in Addis Ababa. He lives with his single mother around a slummy area. His father has passed away and his mother is a casual worker. He is a little child and he is attending in primary school. Amharic is the medium of communication in the family. The family is currently living in an old single roomed house. They aspire to change their lives through any kind of petty trade. Despite the availability of health center in the neighborhood, it lacks necessary laboratory equipment such as microscopes. Even the government schools do not have enough reference books; and the teachers need to be provided with training. Coming from a low income family whose annual income is less than US$ 400, Yitbarek has been enrolled to get help. Moreover, his family needs support on different income generating activities and life skill training on how to raise children.
