Worki was born in Tepo Choroke and lives with her parents and sister in a neighborhood with poor infrastructure, sanitation and no potable water. They speak the local Oromifa language. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a house wife, but their annual income is very low it is not enough to raise the family out of poverty. The child is in kindergarten. They plan to change their life by having their own cows to sell dairy products, which can be achieved better if they get some support and encouragement. The family lives in a very old and small house, and the nearby schools and health center lack basic and standard equipment. In order to overcome the poverty Worki is facing and cover her basic needs like medication, clothing, and future education, she needs support.
