Meet Oscar, a humble and social young boy who lives with his family in northern Uganda in one of the swampy areas. They live in one of the small villages with very poor road network that has always limited their access to good social services. Oscar likes playing football with his friends during his free time and also likes helping his parents with chores such as fetching water and sweeping the compound. Oscar and his family depend on farming as their main source of income yet it has also not been so good for the past two years due to the prolonged drought giving them very low yields that can hardly earn them any income to attend to their basic needs. Due to the low yields the family ends up depending on a single meal a day that is not healthy for a growing child as Oscar.
