Samuel is an active and friendly young boy enrolled in primary and is growing with both parents and siblings in a grass-thatched house made of mud walls with parked dirt located in Northern part of Uganda near the lake. He likes molding his playing materials using clay soil and his parents are subsistence farmers who rely on farming as their main source of income, the crops that the family grows are solely for family consumption but in some cases that have always sold off some crops to allow them get an income to cater for their basic needs which has also not been sufficient as the crops are affected by bad weather. Samuel is enrolled in school but most times misses due to lack of scholastic materials and fees sine the little that the parents get from farming is not enough to attend to his school need this has left him at a verge of dropping out of school.
