Getulida is a jolly and friendly girl living with her family in a house made of mud walls, straw or thatched roof with packed dirt floors in the Eastern part of Uganda. They live in a house, which is not in good condition though it is big enough to fit the entire family. One of the things that make Getulida happy is when she goes to school and she is never chased, she excels well in Mathematics and Science subjects. Getulida loves helping the parents with household chores like cooking and collecting firewood, this makes her parents so proud to have her. Her parents majorly practices farming on a small scale, but the productivity is always low leaving the family with little or totally nothing to sell making purchase of basic needs difficult. Due to the limited income Getulida and her Siblings totally lacks beddings so end up sharing with her siblings and this affects their health yet proper health acquisition is a big challenge. However, Getulida is a promising girl and she feels happy while supporting her mother to prepare a meal.
