Eduard, who is called as Jahir by his family, lives with his parents and 3-brother in a rural community located at the South-Central part of Honduras which provides suitable lands for the agriculture. His mother Gladis does the house works and takes care of the family while his father Elbyn works very hard as a farmer by growing corn and beans, but their low income of $ 100.00 per month is not enough to raise the family out poverty. They share a small 3-room family house which is poorly built with adobe walls, zinc roof and brick floor; it has all the public services found in their location. Eduard goes to the primary school at third grade. Fortunately, Eduard has no mental or physical disabilities and stays healthy most of the time. Eduard is a very happy, curious and funny child who enjoys dancing and singing; for fun, he likes to play football.
