Manev is a little baby who is too small to be burdened with hobbies.  He is a healthy little boy and lives with his parents in a beautiful little village located in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. His village is green and lush but it is also poverty-stricken and Manev’s household is no exception. The annual income earned by his father is around USD520/- by working as a Cultivator/Laborer. His mother attends to the house work and tries to manage the house expenses with their small income, although it is very difficult due to the rising cost of living. Manev is too young to attend a school. This family lives in their own house which has been constructed with Cement blocks, the floor is concreted and the roof is covered with asbestos sheets. They are in possession of proper sanitary facilities, electricity and pipe borne water. If a kind hearted person were to step forward to help little Manev and his family he would be able to reach out for a better future for himself with confidence and the burden of his parents would be reduced greatly. 

Ending child poverty begins with Manev. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
