This is Rocio. She is a joyful, caring and playful girl. She grows up in Cochabamba, central Bolivia. Despite the limited resources available to her, she finds creative ways to entertain herself and make the most out of every situation. Her interests include playing with dolls and going to parks. She attends a local school, where she enjoys her Spanish classes. She lives with her mother in a rudimentary house made of brick walls and corrugated iron sheets on the roof. Her mother is employed in construction and works long hours, facing challenges such as weather and informality.. Her income comes to around US $ 150.00. This is barely enough money for a family to sustain itself. Through your consistent monthly support, letters and prayers, you will help this child live up to her full potential and make a friend for life.
