Lahai is a handsome boy and the third child to his parents. They live in the extreme northern part of Sierra Leone. They dwell in a three mud bricks house roofed with zinc. His parents are small scale farmers who grows up land rice for home consumption and sell small portion of their produces to a nearby local market. Their annual income is estimated at US $230. Lahai is attending one of the primary schools in his village and he is doing extremely well in school. He enjoys playing football during his leisure time.
