Tenneh is a nice girl who lives with her parents and siblings in a small village in the north of Sierra Leone. She is attending the community primary school in another village. The family engages in petty trading, but still struggle to meet the needs of the family. His parents earn a yearly income of US$740 as this is raised from the sales of basic items in the community market. Yet this cannot afford to provide them a bag of rice and other basic necessities. This cannot elevate them from their present situation. Because the sales are not favorable to meet their basic needs. The family dwells in a mud house roof with old zinc that leaks during the rainy season. Tenneh sleeps with her siblings in a local mattress stuffed with dry grass without using mosquito net. They are affected with cold and malaria due to cold wind blowing at night and mosquito bite. Yet the family cannot afford to treat themselves. Tenneh is a cheerful and brilliant girl that likes to read her notes at home. With sponsorship support and encouragement, Tenneh and siblings will be so delighted to live a better and healthy life and expose to greater opportunities.
