Lansana is a young boy living with his parents in the eastern part of Sierra Leone. He loves playing soccer with his peers and is currently attending primary school. He is very active and enjoys eating locally prepared food. Lansana and his parents live in a five-bedroom house built with mud bricks and roofed with old zinc. The roof leaks, especially during the rainy season, making life difficult for the child and his family. His parents are small-scale farmers who mainly grow rice for household consumption. They earn very little from their farm, with an annual income estimated at US$240, which is not enough to meet all the basic needs of Lansana and the family. Lansana dreams of being educated and becoming a lawyer in the future. Your sponsorship will help him pursue his education and grow to become a valuable contributor to the development of his society.
