Sorie is a friendly child who lives with his parents in a two bedroom mud brick house roofed with old zinc in a small community located in a mountainous area in Koinadugu, northern Sierra Leone. His father is a small scale farmer and also a voluntary community school teacher while his mother sells charcoal in the local market. The joint income of both parents is not enough to cater for the needs of the family. Sorie is attending school in the community with limited support from his parents. He is in good health and have very good retentive memory. Sorie likes playing football. Sponsoring him will help him to achieve his dream of becoming a doctor and help his family and the country as a whole.
