Vande is a pretty girl loved by her parents. She lives with her parents and sister in a rural farming community in the eastern part of Sierra Leone. They live in a small house built with mud bricks with old zinc as roof top. The house lacks basic household furniture and proper sanitary facilities. Her parents are small scale seasonal farmers whose economic status is generally very low to meet their basic needs. Their annual income is approximately US$ 231 which cannot meet their basic requirements. She attends the community primary school in her community. She is friendly and likes to play local games with her age mates. Her parents dream is to see her become educated for a brighter future but do not have the upper hand.
