Mamadou lives with his parents in mud huts in the village of Hermakono Centre. Their main activity is agriculture, but the family income remains very limited. The father only generates about $350 dollars per year. The family can only afford two meals a day, served in a family bowl throughout the year. Mamadou is a little boy in grade 3. Very kind and sociable, he is in good health and has no disabilities. He especially enjoys playing football with his friends after school. At night, he sleeps with his parents in a local bed, covered with an old sheet and protected by a mosquito net. Sponsorship could go a long way toward improving their quality of life, health, education, and a better future.
