Sponsor A Child

Mario is a smart boy who lives with his grandmother, mother, aunt and brother in a slum area located in the capital of Mozambique. They live in a self-built house with reed walls, corrugated iron sheets and dirt floor. The toilet is made of reeds and they do not have an improved latrine. They use rudimentary sanitary facilities. Mario attends primary school. In future, he would like to be a teacher. He enjoys playing soccer. His mother is the bread winner of the family. She does some piece jobs for income generation. The income is not enough to feed the family. Mario participates in the program where he will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. His family will benefit from the training skills and home improvement programs. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
