Glevia is a smart girl who lives with her parents and brother in the southeastern part of Mozambique. Glevia studies in a primary school and her favorite subject is Portuguese. In future, she would like to be a teacher. She helps her family with the chores around the house. She often sweeps the yard. Glevia and her parents live in a small community, in a self-built house made of local material. They do not have running water. They use water of a well. This water contains impurities that endanger their health. They do not have electricity as well. At night, they use primitive kerosene lamps. The parents do not have a reliable income generation. They buy and sell coconuts, oranges and cassava in order to cover the needs that they have on everyday basis. The gains of the business are very low. They never manage to cover most of their needs. They have a lot of debts. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
