Sponsor A Child

Abdul Kalam is a smart boy who lives with his sisters, brothers and parents in a small village located in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. He loves to ride bicycles and play cricket with his friends. He too  loves to help his mother to sweep and gather firewood. This child attends a Government school which is about 01 k.m. away and he walks to school with his friends. His favorite subject is Science. The family lives in their own house which has been constructed with bricks. The floor is cemented and the roof is covered with asbestos sheets. They are in possession of a water sealed toilet, electricity and use water from a common well. Abdul Kalam’s mother attends to the house work and looks after her children, while his father does labor work and earns an annual income of  around USD550/-. His income is not sufficient for the family to attend to their day to day needs and to attend to the educational expenses of the children. Your kind help and support can provide them with the assistance they need to improve their living conditions and help Abdul Kalam to enjoy some comforts, continue his education and look forward to a successful future.
